Corporate portraits :
I really enjoy spending some time getting to know a person and creating a photo of them that captures who they are.
In turn, they then feel great putting that image forward. That’s what it’s all about.
Here is CEO Paul Matysek of Goldrock Mines Corp.
(We created some images for a lot of current press and news stories).

I would like to extend my personal invitation to our private beach photo sessions.
It’s a a stunning setting, the sea, the sky, you and those you love and a comfy sofa (of course!).
My past clients have called this a simply amazing family experience, a moment in their lives captured and held as a cherished memory. (Cost is $550. incl. all retouched images given on usb.)
To book your session just contact me at myshsaelinc@gmail.com
I can’t wait to see you there!

Last summer I had the pleasure to work with dancers again.
We hiked deep into in the woods to the derailed trains surrounded by trees and streams.

So lucky am I to have a mentor.
He reminded me to shoot for myself at least once a month.
Try not to photograph exclusively for your clients.
This way you will always grow creatively.
(Very grateful for his wonderful advice).
Here’s one from my body painting series.
Inspiration from the artist Roy Lichtenstein.
Canvas is the female body.

One of my favourite types of work, people portraits. Getting to know someone, finding their quirks, what makes them tick, and trying to capture it. This is always fun for me.

A full days shoot at Griffins boxing gym capturing all their classes, great staff, team spirit, staff portraits and favourite members portraits to portray who they really are. Not only was it a fun day full of wonderful people & great energy. They really are changing lives with what they do (in keeping with their mission statement). It was a real pleasure to do this job for them. It is one truly inspiring company. Thank you Dave Brett and the team at Griffins Boxing and fitness, for a fantastic photo shoot.
Here are a few of my favourite photographs from our day.

Recently, I had the pleasure to photograph a great team of engineers at Ambleside Environmental in West Van.
They were looking to capture a relaxed business feel in their portraits and group shots for Linked In and their website.
I brought my best make up hair guru Angela (for just touchups),my portable studio light set and backdrop.
Then I completely transformed their boardroom into a makeshift studio where we spent 4-5 hours. Here are the results.
